Don is a highly experienced attorney with a diverse background in residential and commercial real estate law, civil litigation, landlord and tenant law, and small business matters. In addition to representing mortgage lenders and buyers and sellers of real estate, Don has advised and represented small business clients in complex transactions, land acquisition and corporate structure. Prior to being of counsel to Scheier & Katin, P.C., Don was a successful operator of a solo practice in Lexington, and of counsel to Ligris + Associates, P.C. in Brookline and Boston. With 14 years of experience Don’s practice also includes representing developers of large scale subdivisions and condominium projects, golf course properties and retail operations. Don obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Salem State College summa cum laude and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
